Official Trick or Treat Details
Both Bloomington and Normal have announced official Trick or Treat hours will be from 5pm-8pm on Saturday, October 31st, 2026.
Here are some safety tips posted on the Town of Normal's website:
Safety Reminders
Parents, please inspect all treats and share these reminders with your ghouls and goblins:
- Only approach homes with an exterior light on – this indicates they are welcoming trick-or-treaters.
- Stay on sidewalks, use crosswalks and cross at the intersection corners. Do not run out into the roadway.
- Trick or Treat with a group of friends or adults. Do not trick-or-treat alone.
- Wear reflective clothing or carry a flashlight after dark.
- Never enter a stranger's home.
Motorists drive slowly, yield to pedestrians and watch for trick-or-treaters.
